...a very early Birthday...

...y'all know Scout's Birthday is not until June...but he needed 'something' right away...
...that's right...with adjudication looming large on the horizon...he needed a new trumpet...a Silver Bach Omega...to be exact...
...he had been talking about getting a 'concert' trumpet and keeping his Conn trumpet for marching season...

...that seems like such a long time ago...
...Jack was very interested in the new trumpet as well...

...and Scout loves it!...so Happy (early) Birthday, Scout!...

    That makes me miss playing in a band...it's only been 20 years. I suppose I'll just have to live through my children now. :)
