Of course, I'd seen two theatrical productions before I saw the film and had a hard time with the artistic liberties taken in adapting to the silver screen. Even the different stage productions have had their variations though. Still a very moving story in any event.

The Hair soundtrack is quite literally THE only music on my iPod. The rest is all audiobooks. ;) Matt teases me about this from time to time. I just love it.

It is hard to explain without sounding needlessly mystical, but the first time I saw Hair performed was right after I'd finished Searching for the Sound by Phil Lesh and right before I saw The Dead's tour in 2012. The trifecta was rather life-changing.

--End Gushing--

Chili was probably the first thing I made from scratch where I threw out the recipe. The variations are endless, easy, and oh so satisfying! Sounds like a stellar date night.BLD in MThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06449967376288331137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35200172.post-24772775395832177092018-02-12T10:39:57.496-05:002018-02-12T10:39:57.496-05:00...we had a lot of fun with the movie...it's b......we had a lot of fun with the movie...it's been dreary and rainy here...so leftover chili sounds good...

~Have a lovely day!affectioknithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00956694289800463441noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35200172.post-28042354193464063552018-02-12T03:30:05.077-05:002018-02-12T03:30:05.077-05:00We've both had some nasty cold and cough virus...We've both had some nasty cold and cough virus so it has been 'wallpaper' television – mostly reality shows which seem much too peurile when I feel well!Maureenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12404265296554666518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35200172.post-67393800793982491042018-02-11T18:03:31.444-05:002018-02-11T18:03:31.444-05:00we're watching Mad Men - never watched it befo...we're watching Mad Men - never watched it before. not at all what i expected - but we'll stick with it a while. i've also downloaded the Letterman Obama interview - My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. will watch it when we have a spare moment. chili looks wonderful, but it's 81 degrees here and i'm not in the mood for chili!!!
love, kKarenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02893050823919424721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35200172.post-58346431710712657862018-02-11T17:39:24.902-05:002018-02-11T17:39:24.902-05:00Now I want a chili! I think it was a little before my time and I'd never seen it advertised or showing along the years later.

I haven't been watching much on TV. Just my regularly PVR'd daily Christian program and a some daily talk shows. I use the talk shows (like Dr. Oz) to learn more about the latest in health and so on.

Have you had a chance to check out The Vikings or The Blacklist?Joyfulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09956413632864588646noreply@blogger.com
