Well, our drive is so long and big we have to plow, snowblowers won't help us:-) And if we shoveled it we would be snowbound until the Spring thaw...LOL!Suzannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11016058828515830560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35200172.post-32850308850556485962010-12-03T20:11:43.147-05:002010-12-03T20:11:43.147-05:00I'm kind of odd, I guess, but I actually enjoy...I'm kind of odd, I guess, but I actually enjoy shoveling snow!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35200172.post-83449308232499024042010-12-03T16:27:06.309-05:002010-12-03T16:27:06.309-05:00Minus 5?! We find certain types of snow usually moves faster with the shovel. Also we only have a driveway and sometimes with three kids working we can get it done quickly. We only have our city driveway, steps and bit of sidewalk to clear so it really doesn't take us very long to get things cleared.Patriciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12072131066500573257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35200172.post-51428948195053554732010-12-02T19:38:46.991-05:002010-12-02T19:38:46.991-05:00Wow that's cold!! After a certain point it needs to be moved the entire length of the driveway where it can be piled. I agree we all need to conserve resources. We're doing it by living in a dense urban setting.Carolinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00591131876354165885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35200172.post-5036262139383441322010-12-02T12:08:41.051-05:002010-12-02T12:08:41.051-05:00We use old-fashioned shovels. We've been living in houses ...Hooray for Scout! We've been living in houses very ill suited for snowblowing, since the driveways are never long enough to justify owning a snowblower. My hubby loves shoveling snow, so that helps. Last year I strapped baby Kidoodle for some shoveling, but he squirmed so much I could barely shovel and screamed so hard he threw up in the snow. :( I'll leave that job to Skedaddle from now on, though I doubt we'll be seeing much snow in NC!Ammielorishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15733229409882495397noreply@blogger.com
