I have done this with tin jars, b...I love the idea. I have done this with tin jars, but I never thought to use glass. We buy a lot in bulk and the plastic bags get annoying in our pantry. A lot of what we buy does not come with labels (and yes, I have gotten confused b/c some look a like). I have been buying a protein smoothie mix at the health food store, but it is so expensive. I sometimes cut the direction...That is a good idea. I sometimes cut the directions or recipes for a product and put that paper in with cereal or mixes that I store in Tupperware. Not exactly like relabeling but it is the original package.
