So glad you are finding many uses for the date sweetener.Joyfulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09956413632864588646noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35200172.post-88663309152121651652017-02-04T16:54:32.990-05:002017-02-04T16:54:32.990-05:00Every morning I have blueberries and canned grapef...Every morning I have blueberries and canned grapefruit at breakfast and I put a large spoonful of ground flaxseed in that, works well. I would think it would work well in oatmeal - or porridge as we call it in the UK.Maureenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12404265296554666518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35200172.post-30414494565799990362017-02-04T02:47:27.934-05:002017-02-04T02:47:27.934-05:00I'm diabetic so I don't try any sweeteners...I'm diabetic so I don't try any sweeteners. If I have something sweetened it is usually with honey as I don't like stevia (too sweet for my taste buds). I also recently been eating dates which I bought to make bliss balls but haven't actually made the bliss yet, he he. I'm finding I like a few dates every other day or so just eaten as is (my dates are quite soft and pitted). I will eventually get around to making the tasty treats which are meant for a snack when out and about and needing a pick me up.Joyfulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09956413632864588646noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35200172.post-30250301724301268502017-02-03T12:53:36.652-05:002017-02-03T12:53:36.652-05:00love dates and prunes..i have prunes with my oatme...love dates and prunes..i have prunes with my oatmeal..dont know why the dates and prunes have to be so expensive..:-) trying to find if flax will be good to add to my oatmeal..maybe pine nuts also..have a great day.Luluhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01910694148759907767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35200172.post-13117865171869894212017-02-03T10:45:35.869-05:002017-02-03T10:45:35.869-05:00I've been eating a lot of dates lately as well...I've been eating a lot of dates lately as well. They have large containers of them at Costco. I also started using Xylotol as a sweetener. It was originally made from birch bark (I think), now corn. I found it as part of a way to better tooth health. Google Kiss Your Dentist Goodbye. I tried doing a Whole 30 elimination diet, and the Xylotol was not allowed, but dates were.Shadowmosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17302898633500446571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35200172.post-65885623295374554922017-02-03T08:15:52.791-05:002017-02-03T08:15:52.791-05:00that's pretty neat, hadn't thought of date...that's pretty neat, hadn't thought of dates as a sweetener. and wow, it's been a LONG time since i've had Cream of Wheat!!

love, kKarenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02893050823919424721noreply@blogger.com
