...Mellophone...

...pre-band camp...band camp...post-band camp...and marching season are almost upon us...

...and even though he has a brand new silver trumpet...
...this is what Scout will be playing...

...a mellophone...

...this one belongs to the school...but he brought it home for the summer to practice...he'll be playing the French Horn for concert season...

...and for now...lots of practice...

    Oh! This brings me back to high school. I LOVE the mellophone. I played the french horn for years and loved to march with the mellophone. What fun. :)

    Very interesting as I had not heard about the mellophone. I had a friend who played French Horn - she has stomach muscles like iron!
