...10.19...Dinner and a Movie...

...starting with some Blogger comments...

...to my sweet sissie Karen who blogs from her boat at McCraw Sails...Hey K...the Plant looks like a fun place...we're definitely doing early voting too...it opens here next week...a tree fall that close to the house can been a bit nerve-racking...but of course Duane did a beautiful job...so nice of you to donate it...I didn't even know you were going up to Mom's...what a surreal place Asheville is now...Love, T

...to karen from Pumpkin Sunrise...Hi Karen...that flower show is amazing...and a tangled ball of yarn can be so frustrating...

...to Éphée from L'éphémère quotidienneté des repas et autres trucs de magie...Hi Éphée...I miss your posts...

...to Penny from Snap That Penny...Hi Penny...I don't think I ever did eat at a Woolworth's...there a Woolworth's at the mall...but they didn't have a snack bar...it looks like a fun place to eat though...we used to see rainbows like that in North Dakota...where you could see the whole arc...here the horizon doesn't allow that much of a view...they're always pretty though...

...I am actually reading Guy de Maupassant's short stories...digitally right now for these first ones as they are not in my anthology...I don't think he's very well known in America...and so far the stories are a bit 'same-y'...

...so far I've read:
The Peeled Hand
Coco
Humble drama
Doctor Heraclius Gloss...this one had a very touching preface by one of his relatives...and very kind of à propos in today's political climate as Dr. Gloss falls for and follows a sort of a false prophet...
The Confession
...Dinner was homemade vegetable soup and cornbread...
...with a vegan grilled cheese...
...it's always delicious...

...and for the movie...we watched a few more episodes of Trollied...

...what have you been watching lately?...

~Have a lovely day!
