...What I ate...at the Beach...

...these aren't really in any particular order...
...someone (Scout)...took this goofy photo of me at breakfast still in my jammies...
...we ate all of our breakfasts at the cottage...
...and they were pretty much tofu and bread of some kind...
...if we ate out at all...it was for lunch...this is a salad and some boiled potatoes at a seafood restaurant...
...and another day...another fancier salad at a pizza place...with dried cherries...apples and pecans...it was delicious...
...Taco Boy lunch...roasted cauliflower and cabbage taco...black beans and rice...it was delicious...and probably my favorite meal of the trip...
...and this is fried Brussels Sprouts (quite unique and not at all what I was expecting...I was expecting whole fried sprouts)and a veggie burger...
...dinners were also always at the cottage...and another goofy photo of me...haha...
...this is a Bubba veggie burger...I've never had one before...it was good...and a pretty typical dinner...mostly veggie burgers and patties...with potato and salad...easy beach fare...
...but one night we got fancier with dinner and made stroganoff...mushrooms and sauce...
...and vegan chick'n...
...this is the Tofurkey roasted chick'n and it's really good...everyone loved it...
...it was delicious...

...what did you eat yesterday?...

~Have a lovely day!

  1. I made a roast dinner, potatoes, carrots and parsnips with a Linda McCartney roast and lots of vegan gravy!

  3. Oh, so much goodness!! Those brussels sprouts look interesting.

We had "pot luck" at our friend's boat. I took Asian cole slaw and Nanny's candied sweet potatoes plus some choc chip cookies I'd made yesterday. They had "rice & peas", a lovely fresh lettuce/avocado salad with a Balsamic/Fig dressing, some fresh broccoli steamed and they all had some pork (which I obviously did not!) Love, K

  5. I like the "goofy" pictures of you--and your tie-dye jammies! I'd have never guessed those were Brussels sprouts!! How interesting! I might actually like them better that way than whole, I'd wager. I went to a crab joint in Seattle while visiting my family at Christmas and was blown away by the awesome salad I got. I was so dubious when the fam said, "We could go to the Crab Pot!" Pleasant surprise, indeed!
