...so I did do the rounded toe to finish the body of the sock...
...kitchenered it together at the end...the final 8 stitches top and bottom instead of decreasing again and then pulling all the stitches together...
...and the princess sole bottom...
...still to decide on some sort of cuff...just stockinette stitch doubled...a few rows of ribbing and then a pompom like we used to wear in the 80s...or a regular 1x1 rib cuff...either just one inch and bind off or doubled...I'll have to decide...
...what's in your workbasket this week?...

...6.1...Over the Weekend...
...we started the weekend with pancakes...
...which is always a good start...
...I had brought home the only leftover piece of Beyond Sausage from Mom's so I also got to have that with my pancakes...
...and then a quick shopping trip as we've got a really big job to do...we're still waiting on our organic soybeans and I got my old SoyQuick soymilk maker out of storage...so hopefully soon I won't have to worry about finding unsweetened soymilk anymore...
...but I had my regular Popz treat while I was shopping...
...and then we got started...the new grass plugs had arrived...we were worried that they'd come while we were away and that would have been bad because they shouldn't sit unopened and unplanted for very long...
...we've got this patch in the front lawn under the Yaupon tree where our Centipede grass really struggles...so hopefully this shade tolerant version of St. Augustine grass will be able to grow well here...
...the Man prepped the area with new topsoil...
...all ready for planting...
...then he used a special tool to drill about 300 little holes...and I went behind him and put a little spoonful of moisture beads that will swell and hold some moisture for the new grass as it gets a foothold...
...and then I got down on my knees and put one little grass plug into each of the little holes...
...it was a lot of work...
...and I'm not all that used to being bent over on my knees for a long time...
...but like almost all repetitive tasks like this...
...it was eventually finished...haha...
...I'll defnitely keep you posted on how the grass grows... ...and I think the only food prep I did was to make a batch of pasta salad which I stored in individual servings...it's not the Man's favorite so I'll probably be eating all of it...
