...W.I.P. Wednesday...

...I was looking through a bin in the basement for my old...old size 8 knitting needles that mom bought for me to make my very first sweater...way back in the day...like Jr. High...I found them of course...
...but I also found this bag...

...now you probably don't remember this...but way back in 2007 Scout learned to knit...and he knit these two squares of camo to make a potholder...which for some reason...we never put together...

...and you can see the worn old size 8 needles in that photo as well...
...so I got this rather worn pot holder out of the drawer for some extra padding...
...and just stitched Scout's squares around it...leaving the little tab sticking out the top...
...and now I have a sweet (nostalgic...to me anyway) new potholder...

...although I'll probably only use this one as a trivet...don't want it to get all scorched and worn out...you know...
