...W.I.P. Wednesday...

...as I near the end of the Plarn Beach Bag...I found that I was running out of Food Lion white bags...and the object of the project was NOT to acquire any more bags...it was to use up the ones I had...
...there were a few white bags that had other colours of printing on them...but I didn't want to incorporate any other colours in the bag...
...so...I cut the printed front off...and then just did a spiral around the remaining white bag to get a fairly long piece of 'thread'...
...and then as I crocheted with just the white part...I spaced these plarn threads out between regular white FL bags...but there is a slight difference in the shade of white...if you notice things like that...haha...
...and then I went ahead and twisted up some rope...jsut out of white acrylic yarn that I already had on hand...
...I was really pleased with how they turned out...I haven't made 'rope' since Scout was a Cub Scout...
...I made two...of course...one for each handle...and I'll leave a small hole a few rows from the top of the bag to catch the knotted rope handle...

...what's in your workbasket?...

~Have a lovely day!

  2. Very attractive and useful, too! And way to stick to the "point" of the whole thing and use up your bags!
