...What I Ate Yesterday as a Vegan...

...for breakfast...I had saved a half piece of vegan sausage...so I had that with some tofu (seasoned with black salt and pepper)...and whole wheat toast...and tea...of course..
...and then I had a favorite snack...whole wheat toast with almond butter and banana...I actually prefer peanut butter...but I want to use up with almond butter before it gets old...
...remember when I made the Ramen noodles a while ago...and froze the leftovers...well...I got those out and made a pot of vegan ramen for lunch...it was yummy...
...afternoon snack was an apple and some pecans...
...and for dinner I had a big creamy bowl of noodles with cashew cream, Earth Balance and salt and pepper...simple and good...with tofu, roasted asparagus, French bread and a salad...

...and we had popcorn while we were watching tv...but I didn't take a photo of that...

  1. As the pregnancy hasn't gone smoothly - still hanging in there at 31 weeks tomorrow - I've felt stressed and my go to feeling is then nausea! So, if I just have fruit for breakfast, blueberries and orange, I feel okay so that is what I've been having. Lunch, guacamole with cheap avocados from the market with rye crisp bread and homemade hummus. Dinner, mushroom and tomato stew with spicy left over potatoes and steamed cabbage.

  2. Another day of good food that suits me perfectly! Specially the breakfast because of the tofu.
    The soup looks gooooooooood!

    and a poutine with a "new" (for me) sauce that is totally addicting!
