...11.19...Friday Favorites....FALL...

...it's no secret that fall (autumn) is my favorite time of the year...

...and fall has been really late coming this year...just last week we still had highs in the 70s...(low 20s C)...and fall here is a pretty golden affair...not the vibrance of colours you get up in the mountains...
...but there's still a lot of beauty...right outside my kitchen window...I get to watch the progression of colour change on this beauty...
...it's really pretty from the back porch as well...
...and then there's this beauty from the bedroom...
...do you have lots of fall colour in your neck of the woods?...

  1. Since we’re in central/south Florida, not much! You can see a few trees that seem to be deciduous. But mostly it’s still vibrant/manicured green. Love, K

    1. Hey K,
...yeah...I remember FL not being very colourful...the trees are finally bare here...which seems really late...

    1. Hi Karen,
...I love a nice long fall...but I think it's finally over...and it seems much more 'wintry' with the bare trees now...even though the temperatures are still mild...

  3. Great trees.

I feel like we've had a nice long fall. There have been some unseasonably warm days here or there, too, a little last breath of summer vibes. All my favorite trees (the most yellow and the few reds) have come and gone with their autumn show, though we'll probably go up to the rim tops for one more overlook of the town before all the branches are bare and the town goes brown.

For whatever reason, I'm really not looking forward to the cold and dark this year. Autumn is the harbinger. I'm not opposed to autumn, per se, but the winter that will soon be upon us. I'm not feeling it this year. I wish summer could have gone on forever. This is pretty irregular for me.
