...3.5...Delicious Vegan Food we ate...almost...

...well...just because they have fresh squash in the grocery store doesn't necessarily mean you should get it...when it's still technically winter...
...because you may be disappointed with the flavor...we were...I cooked it on the Griddler...the usual way...and we served it with tofu marinated in mild Buffalo Wing Sauce, greens, vegetarian baked beans, and fried cabbage...and some lettuce from the winter garden...but it was pretty bland...not that delicious flavor of garden fresh summer squash...oh well...it was certainly a fine meal...just fine...

...what delicious food have you been eating lately?...

~Have a lovely day!

  1. Last night we had a pot of black bean chilli with TVP and cornbread. Seems like a winter meal but I’m wearing a long tank top and underwear, haha.

  2. Your dinner looks tasty. Right now I'm making tomato soup from fresh tomatoes, kale chips and banana muffins. These are all for tomorrow. Tonight I made some potstickers (from frozen) and a made up noodle soup with all kinds of vegetables (shiitake mushrooms, Gai lan, Baby Bok Choy, carrots, and zucchini). I'm also going to make Kimchi tomorrow. I'm just waiting for the Korean child powder to arrive. Apparently it's not the usual chili powder. I've been wanting to make Kim chi and also sauerkraut for ages but never had the right ingredients or tools on hand. I'm waiting for 'weights' to arrive to make the sauerkraut some time. Hopefully once I get the hang of these two recipes, one or both of them will always be on hand.
