The Man-Cub still swings with abandon 'though - we have a swing set too - but if you swing too high it's posts start to wiggle out of the ground - so he really loves these super sturdy ones at the park where he can swing so high that he can touch the bars overhead...
... and I can sit on a bench and knit - I can tell the secret project is quickly becoming too large to be portable - so that will be for TV knitting - the 2nd baseball sock and the Vanilla KAL are progressing well - and I've just cast on for a pink prayer shawl for one of our neighbors recently diagnosed with cancer - I'm using the Major Knitter's pattern - http://majorknitter.typepad.com/photos/patterns/march_2007_052.html - but I'm adding some little openwork hearts...
Weather looks nice there and the boy is having fun. I guess you just have to be knitting something. E

ReplyDeleteI remember Grandma told me before we moved that we would love the "big sky" up here. It really is amazing - you walk out into the wind blowing the prairie grass and there are no trees to stop it or to block your view and all you see is SKY - big sky all around you - sort of makes you realize how infinitesimal you really are...
