Vintage Cloth = Vintage Apron

Don't you just love finding vintage cloth - not used - just like someone bought it and you wonder what they intended to make with it...

...this one came with piping and a red zipper - so I think they were going to make a dress with it...

...this blue one - I don't know...and it's a little bit faded on one side...

...but I absolutely love the tag - there's 1 1/2 yards - I'm thinking they were going to make pajamas and this would be PERFECT for some pajamas - what do you think?

...but the circle cloth (with it's piping) put me in mind of one of my Nanny's old aprons - I just keep it in the drawer with all my other aprons - but I never use it - it is so threadbare and even has a couple of tears in it - but I love it and it reminds me of Nanny...

  7. I LOVE finding vintage cloth. Also any sort of vintage kitchen tool even if I would never have a use for it.

  8. Very fun fabrics. I am inspired. If I could just find my sewing machine... it's got unfinished knitting projects piled on top!
