...this one came with piping and a red zipper - so I think they were going to make a dress with it...

...this blue one - I don't know...and it's a little bit faded on one side...

...but I absolutely love the tag - there's 1 1/2 yards - I'm thinking they were going to make pajamas and this would be PERFECT for some pajamas - what do you think?

...but the circle cloth (with it's piping) put me in mind of one of my Nanny's old aprons - I just keep it in the drawer with all my other aprons - but I never use it - it is so threadbare and even has a couple of tears in it - but I love it and it reminds me of Nanny...
how cool!

I love re-using thrifted/antique fabrics. i find so many in good condition. I can't wait to see the apron you make. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteI love finding awesome vintage fabric. Right now I am really into vintage sheets. Good luck with your apron!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! Can't wait to see what you turn them into.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue (and white) fabric. I would love a tablecloth from it :-)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE finding vintage cloth. Also any sort of vintage kitchen tool even if I would never have a use for it.
ReplyDeleteVery fun fabrics. I am inspired. If I could just find my sewing machine... it's got unfinished knitting projects piled on top!
