I only have one sister - and I tell everyone that she's just like me - only 100 times nicer...
...I could go on and on with stories about her - and she would smile or nod or roll her eyes by the time I had uttered the first few words...
...like the time we shared ONE pair of flip flops to walk down our LONG gravel driveway from Nanny's house to ours - holding hands and hobbling along - and switching shoes and feet every few yards...
...or the time when we had stayed up late and watched 'the BLOB' and were too scared to sleep alone - so we piled into one bed...me pretending that I was just doing it to comfort her...
...or the time when we were teenagers and I remembered about midnight that I needed a cake for my Home Ec class the next day - and she stayed up and baked a beautiful coconut cake for me to take to my class...
...well - you get the idea...
...and because she's got a BIRTHDAY coming up - and because she's so wonderful and YOU all are too - I thought I'd make TWO of each of her little pressies and give them to some of you...
There are 5 little handmade goodies going into her present...
#1 - a little covered notepad - there are two of these (the grey one went to Karen) - so I'll draw 2 names from the comments on this post - and the first one will get to pick first...
#2 - A little headband - I posted about them here
The green one is hers - because it goes so well with her lovely auburn hair...
...and the pink one will go to one of you - just leave a comment...
#3 - A hand knit dishcloth - from my latest pattern here - they're exactly alike - so just leave a comment here...
#4 - A self storing shopping bag - I posted about them here and here...
