...this is what my kitchen counter looked like this morning after breakfast...
...I took the picture because of the way the light changes this time of year - as the earth tilts - the light moves out onto the counters and eventually down onto the floor - which contributes greatly to Jack's happiness - that dog loves a sunny spot better than anything...
...I bet you can't guess what we had for breakfast...
...and the black cord goes to my crockpot full of beans...

Grits are unknown here, I have tasted them but they were instant and flavoured and not really nice.
Are they sort of flakes of corn that are made into a 'porridge' with water and flavour added?
How do you make your potato casserole - love spuds me!
