...W.I.P. Wednesday...

...I finished the flip/flop/bootie remake...
...I said I was going to add some royal blue to the reused slipper tops to make them match the flip/flop soles...and this is the funky free-style design I came up with for that...haha...

...it's just chain stitch through the fabric tops...and then single crochet around the opening...
...and then I just single crocheted the reused top to the soles using the royal blue yarn...
...a couple of things...

...yes...they are a bit big and clownish...the pattern says to use a size smaller than you normally wear...and I can see why...

...and I almost always wear socks with all of my slippers no matter what the sole is made of...but you'd probably want to wear socks with these just for comfort's sake...
...so they're fine for house slippers...the ones in the pattern would be nice enough to wear out...but definitely not this version... ...for wearability...they kind of remind me of these pink fluffy slippers I had when I was little...
...in other knitting news...I've got both of my tan sock remakes to the same level of completeness...and I'll finish off the tops in k2p2 ribbing like I did on the red ones...

...what's in your workbasket?

~Have a lovely day!
