...we had a nice visit with Our Nephew's family...and watched a few soccer games with them...
...our neice is the team goalie...I learned a lot about soccer rules sitting and chatting with her parents during the games...so even though I watched every episode of Ted Lasso...I am not a soccer expert...haha...
...on Saturday she wore her blue kit...
...and on Sunday her pink kit...
...I loved both outfits...and learned that the goalie wears a strikingly different colour so that they will be easily distinguishable from their teammates and opposing players, especially during fast-paced play and set pieces, ensuring referees and players can identify them quickly and accurately...because they can touch the ball in ways that their teammates cannot...it would be difficult for a referee to make sure that a 'handball' was the goalie...
...and we had a community St. Patrick's Day party to attend...the kiddos left for home and the Man made a big batch of Vegan baked beans to take...but sadly a storm blew in and the event was cancelled...we'll be eating baked beans all week I guess...haha...
...but I did go out after and get some groceries for the week...we didn't really need a lot this week though...
...just normal stuff...and a can of baked beans to replace the ones from the cupboard that the Man used up...
...and our neice highly recommended this Poppi...so I tried it...it's very tart and lemony...
...and then I thought I'd show you last week's cilantro hanging out in the fridge...I put it into a glass jar with some water and then pop a used cereal bag over the top and a rubber band around the base...it will keep like this for a few weeks...certainly until we use it all up making guac...haha...
