...4.9...another day with the family...

...after breakfast we headed to the Botanical Gardens...

...they loved playing the chimes...

...these sweet girls love plants so much...

...remember everything in Alaska is still covered in snow...but the weather here is gorgeous today...

...when we got home we had a little garden time here too...of course everything 'needed' to be watered again...haha...

...we planted a few more rows of peas...

...three rows for each girlie...

...and then they each planted a Rutger tomato plant for Grandmommy...

...they really liked 'working' in the garden...

...after dinner we went for a walk around the neighborhood...and we found a snapping turtle outside the protected nature preserve behind the house...

...so Our Airman carefully scooped him onto a shovel and carried him over to the gate...

...he did quite a bit of 'snapping' and the girls named him "Snappy" of course...

...and watched as he trudged back to his home...
