...4.4. ... Friday Update...

...the laundry room is complete...

...just a few bits of trim...a pretty new vent cover...

...and laying out the new quarter-round...the room is 8'2"...and the piece of trim is 8'...

...so instead of cutting a tiny bit (it'll be behind the washer/dryer anyway)...I went ahead and did a diagonal cut at about 7'...and then another one foot piece to finish to the corner...

...nailed in place...

...finished and caulked...

...a wooden transition piece in the doorway where the tile meets the wood floor...

...and that's it...

...we slid the washer and dryer back into place...and the shelf tucks neatly in between...holding my serger and sewing machine...a box of thread and patterns...

...we had gotten these ikea cubes for the little bedroom and then decided not to use them...but they'll be perfect in this little craft/laundry room...

...we just taped the templates to the wall...

...the cubes hang on a neat rail system...the Man had already painted the insides of two 'Gumdrop' the contrast colour for the little bedroom...and it goes so well in here too...

...I can't wait to get everything all set up in here...it will be so convenient...
