...the Man continues to work his way around the bedroom...cutting in...we've moved the bed out into the center of the room...hoping we can get to the entire ceiling without dismantling it...
...and then I finally tackled a tiny little job that's been hanging out for way too long...when we redid the wood floors in the big room we installed a little bendy piece of fake wood around the newel post base...and it kind of stood out as being quite different from the oak quarter-round...
...so I ordered a bunch of oak coloured Sharpies...wedged some paper underneath and behind...
...and started colouring it to match the trim...adding little flecks and swirls with the darker pens...to match the woodgrain...
...and then I gave it a coat of the same finish we'd used on the floors...
...I'm happy to have that little project completed...
...in the garden...we're still picking the bush beans...they're gorgeous and delicious...they're also winding down in their production...which is OK because we need to pull them up soon to plant the winter garden...
...and we're still picking 50-100 cowpeas a day...I've filled up one bin and started another one...I'm pretty happy with the yield as I planted 100 seeds...and then I didn't do anything at all except string them up and water them...it'll be fun to see how many peas we actually get out of them...it may be just an experiment that we don't repeat...haha...
