...5.8...Friday Garden Update...

...well...we finally got some mesurable rain...
...it rained a couple of times this week...but only about 1/8 of an inch or so...so this is really welcome...it's been so very dry here...
...the square foot garden is sprouting...after the first little eggplant...all of the squashes and pumpkins are up now...
...cucumber...
...Hubbard...
...Rouge Vif...
...Summer crookneck squash...
...the Rattlesnake beans are doing really well...they'll need strings to climb soon...
...and the little Rutger tomatoes that we grew from seed are thriving as well...
...the pink rose by the sidewalk is really showing off...
...and the little yellow rose from our nephew is blooming again under the mailbox...
