...5.11...Over the Weekend...

...we started the weekend with vegan mushroom omelettes...sautéeing the stems and pieces of some mushrooms that we'd already eaten the tops of...

...a simple besan omelette...

...top with the mushrooms...

...and sprinkle with vegan parmesan...

...this one is almond based...

...fold over...

...and enjoy with a nice toasted bagel...

...and that was followed by the weekly shopping...not much of interest...Food Lion has started carrying the small shredded wheat biscuits with no frosting which is nice because the frosted ones usually contain gelatin for some reason...

...we went for a short hike...and saw a small herd of deer...

...and these little goslings...their parents were escorting them across the grass to a pond and hissing as loud as they could at us...haha...

...but baby geese are the cutest...

...and Sunday was Mother's Day of course...

...this sweet package arrived right as I was leaving for a bike ride (that's why my water bottle is on the table)...

...we got it all unpacked ...it's a wifi/solar bird feeder with a camera...

...so after my ride...we headed out to mount it to the fence outside the dinette window...

...got it all set up...

...and filled it with birdseed...

...and this is a screenshot from the app...it even identifies the bird for you...
