...We've had a BIG SNOW!...
...even by North Dakota standards - this was a big one...it snowed all day and into the night and we got between 15 and 18 inches of new snow...on top of the foot or so that we already have...so a very White Christmas it will be...
...Scout and his Papa went out after dark to knock the snow off the deck for the third time - I know you may think it's futile to shovel snow while it's still snowing - but believe me it's not - as it's so much easier to move 3-4 inches of snow than it is to move 18 - YIKES!...
...Scout of course did some playing too - jumping off the new mound of snow beside the sidewalk and making snow angels...I could still see the impressions as I got ready for bed - so I snapped a couple of pictures...
...labeled here so you can see what I see...the faceplant one was funny and I wish I had a picture of his face after he jumped into the snow...

...and this one right before school - that's right they had school anyway...just two hours late...boy - was Scout disappointed - he thought (we did too) that he'd get the day off...but he said on his way to school...'Hey - that snow looks just like the icing on our gingerbread house'...
The weather here is also much colder and more snowy than usual. It is very rare to have pre-Christmas snow and two big batches before Christmas is something I can't remember!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! I was wishing for a white Christmas but then with my luck I would go into labor in the middle of a snow storm!
