...BBQ Vegan 'Pork' Medallions...

...I had gotten these Vegan Pork at the local international grocery...we always have so much fun poking around there...I did a quick search to find them online for y'all...but without much luck...the package says...HEO LAT CHAY...Veg. Pork Meat Slice...
...anywhoo...to prepare them...you have to soak them in water...as they are dehydrated...so we boiled some water and dunked them in...
...but they floated...so we weighted them down with another bowl...
...this is what the medallions look like after soaking...yummy...NOT...
...so...I squeezed out most of the water...and then they looked a little better...
...soaked them with some vegan BBQ sauce...
...and then...threw them on the grill...
...hmmmmmmnn...better looking now for sure...
...I couldn't wait to try one...heehee...
...so I sliced into one right there on the stove as soon as I brought them in from the grill...really really good!...
...then...I did put them on a plate and have a proper dinner with them...

...they were really good...now I can't wait to try some of Julia's 'pork' recipes using these medallions...

~Wishing you a lovely start to your week!
