...Exploring West Virginia...the WV Music Hall of Fame...

...West Virginia is the first state that we've lived in that celebrates it's founding yearly...maybe because the circumstances of it's founding during the Civil War make it very special...anywhoo...June 20th is a State Holiday...
...so we spent the day doing some West Virginia things...we visited the W.V. Music Hall of Fame...
...it's a collection of W.V. music memoribilia...
...we loved seeing the old radios and phonograph...
...and the old piano music...
...some of it handwritten...like this "Skipping Rope Dance" sheet music...
...and this unusual piece entitled "The Magic Circle of Infinity"...
...a guitar signed by one of the Stevens Brothers...
...and a funny poster of The Pickers...each with a finger up his nose...weirdly funny...beside a band uniform a lot like Scout's...only the colour is wrong...
...and old Victrola like the one Grandma used to have when I was little...
...and an interesting collage exhibit of W.V. Music in the 60s and 70s...

~Have a lovely West Virginia Day!...
