...we're almost to Twelfth Night...so it's still ok to post about Christmas...right?
...our poor little Jack-Jack has had a terrible ear infection...and we've been 'doctoring' it for 2 weeks...it's a 14 day enzymatic treatment for resistant ear infections...and it's working...he's finally getting better...
...in case you've not heard it 'doctoring' is a North Dakota term that I'd never heard before we moved there...it can mean both treating...and going to the doctor...I've adopted it as well as 'spendy'...and 'yep'...and 'pop'... but even with my special North Dakota words I'm not in any danger of being mistaken for anything other than the southern girl that I am...(wink)...
...anywhoo...Jack just loves Christmas...all of the excitement and the packages...he's so curious...
...he gets right in the middle of things...
...snooping as everyone opens their presents...I'm sure it's all smell related...everything is to a dog you know...and these are things he's never smelled before...
...and he really enjoys opening his own stocking too...
...and he got a special Christmas treat this year as we traveled up to the mountains for a visit...and there's just about nothing he likes better than a ride in the car...and we've not put his travel carrier up since the trip...he loves it so...he likes to just go in it sometimes and turn around and come back out...just checking on things...but sometimes he likes to go in and have a lie-down or a nap...
...we normally keep the carrier in the basement...and whenever I go down there and Jack follows me he always goes over to his house and checks it out...
...have you taken down your decorations yet?...soon Christmas 2015 will be over...
~Have a lovely day!

The day after Boxing Day we took ours down.
ReplyDeleteOur dog Ben loved the whole Christmas present unwrapping experience. We do lots of presents collected from charity shops through the year so lots of wrapping paper. Ben rushed through the wrappings skidding and jumping. His main present was a toy which he unwrapped and played with for the whole day, completely ignoring his other gift a tub of treats!
such a sweet puppy! love, k
ReplyDeleteAH! I use "doctoring" or "doctored"... but usually in reference to food. :) My husband gives me a hard time with that. :)
