...W.I.P. Wednesday...

...I finished the striped lapghan...
...I like it...hopefully it will bring some cheer and warmth to someone...
...but I'm not so happy about my progress on the Senior afghan...I ripped out the crochet because I didn't like how the colours were pooling...
...so then my bright idea was to knit alternating squares of stockinette stitch...but I still really don't like how this yarn is pooling...
...and guess why...I was expecting a sort of variegated camo effect...but the label clearly states that this is a striping yarn...

...I'm just not that fond of it and I'm not sure it's what a senior who wants a camo afghan expects...so not sure what I'll do at this point...maybe pull it out again and go back to the crochet...as I'm pretty sure all of the other senior afghans will be crocheted...

...what do you think I should do with a striped camo yarn...

~Have a lovely day!

  1. The striped lapghan looks lovely. I have no idea what to do about the camo yarn. I hope you come up with the right idea.

  2. I like the colours on the striped blanket. The fair isle effect of the camp yarn looks very effective. I think it would make wrist warmers, fingerless mittens and hats, the fair isle will look very effective.

It would make a nice bag as well.

  3. Not camp! Camo auto correct strikes!
