...Dinner...but no movie...

...There was a fancy dress/white table cloth dinner fundraiser at the Church last night...so we did have dinner...but no movie...

...the Man flew home from Orlando...had a little rest and then we got dressed up for our evening out...

...seatings were scheduled every hour starting at 5:00 and ending at 8:00...
...our 'reservation' was for 7:00...

...and they had vegan options...which was very nice...
...Scout was our server...he did such a good job...and everything was decorated nice...and the candlelight kinda transformed the fellowship hall...

...we were met by a maître d' at the door...and we even had to wait a bit for our table...
...I totally meant to photograph my soup and salad...and then totally forgot...and ate half of my entrée before I took a picture...and you can see that my entrée was not on the menu...they just made a vegan option just for me...and I guess I just got caught up talking and catching up with the Man after his trip...and forgot about photos...sorry...
...and then instead of pie for dessert...I chose to have a baked sweet potato...and they brought vegan butter and a cinnamon sugar shaker...

...it really was a fun night out...and they raised over $2300 for the AED...more than enough for two...one for the sanctuary and one for the fellowship hall...

...it's one of those things that you're glad to have and hope that you will never have to use...

~Have a lovely day!

  1. It looks like a lovely dinner. It was nice that they even set the special ambience with candles. I didn't get what AED means.
