...on the way to New Mexico...

...we left way...way before dawn...it got daylight somewhere in Tennessee...

...we stopped at McDonalds and got breakfast...I love the oatmeal..just ordered without cream and butter...

...for lunch...I had packed a vegan egg salad sammie...but for some unknown reason...I didn't take a photo of it...

...I always snap a photo of the Mississippi River when I cross it...

...it just seems like a little marker of something big...

...I don't think I've ever been in Arkansas before...we're stopping in Conway...

...the Man was telling me a funny story that I'd never heard before...(we listened to a lot of country music growing up)...and Harold Lloyd Jenkins (better known as Conway Twitty) chose his name by looking at a road map when he spotted Conway, Arkansas, and Twitty, Texas, and chose the name Conway Twitty...I guess I never even realized that it wasn't his real name...haha...

...this is in Arkansas...but it looks like North Dakota in the summertime...

...and when we finally got to our hotel...there was a little kitchenette area...and I microwaved some veg...and had leftover Pizza Hut pizza that we had brought with us...and an apple...

...we were so tired...I stuffed towels around the window to keep the light out and we went to bed about 7 PM...planning to get up and do this again at 3:30 AM...
