...well...it was a gorgeous weekend...
...I can hardly believe the weather we've been having...
...really...really perfect weather...
...so we spent as much time outside as possible...
...Our Girl loves to be outside...and she loves to run...
...so what else did we get up to...
...I decided to try dehydrating mushrooms...
...I just washed them and sliced them and put them on the dehydrator...
...it didn't take too long...and it was really simple...
...and I filled up two jars wtih dehydrated mushrooms...
...I made some crinkle cut fries for Our Airman...
...fried twice like before...
...I also made a Guinness Stout cake for Our Airman...the veganized recipe is here...
...we got sub sandwiches for lunch on Saturday...it was fun and different eating those at home...
...I made croutons...
...and filled up two jars with those...
...and finally a roasted the eggplant that I'd bought last weekend...
...the I put it in the freezer to use later...

I'm going to have to try that dehydrating mushrooms! And yes, the weather has been fabulous! Love, K
