...on our last day at the beach...
...Our Girl said goodbye to the cold Atlantic waves...she'll soon say hello to the warm Okinawan ones...
...these flowers were blooming all over...and it's almost December...
...back to the house...soundside...
...we moved some deck chairs down near the sound on a concrete pad there...along with the chiminea...
...Our Girl had a warm bath...and got her jammies on...
...to play on the deck while her Papa cooked on the grill...
...and after dinner...instead of a movie...we all gathered by the chiminea...just enjoying being together...and outside...and in the smoky warmth of the fire...I asked Our Airman if he remembered his first Scout camping trip and the Scoutmaster gave all of the new Scouts (10 year olds) a single match...and told them to light a fire...of course Our Airman was successful...and of course he remembered it...he said at S.E.R.E. survival training...they used a flint...
...we got up early and packed up the truck...
...and took Jack for one last quick walk on the beach...
...and said goodbye to the lighthouse...
...the tide was in...so there was not much beach...
...and we're on our way...from the beach...
...to the mountains...
~Have a lovely weekend!
