...9.23...What I Ate at Mom's...

...breakfast was a bagel, baked tofu, and some fruit...
...and lunch after snacking around on chips and dip was just a big ole plate of fried green tomatoes...it was so delicious...and then I ate a bunch of vegan vanilla wafers that Mom had found with peanut butter...too many really...but they reminded me of snack time with Romper Room when I was little as Mom would often make that for our 'snack'...

...I remember the 'blessing' we would say before the snack...of course...and the Pledge of Allegience at the beginning...and the 'Magic Mirror' that 'Miss' would use at the end and say names of the children she could see in tv-land...I can remember her saying my sweet sissie's name...and she probably said mine at some time as well...maybe on a day I wasn't watching...haha...
...for dinner...the Man made a spicy creole sort of bbq sauce...and cooked chick-un on the grill...and Mom made a tasty vegan German potato salad, sugar snap peas and corn on the cob...and the sweetest little yellow pear tomatoes from the garden...it was all so delicious...

...hey K...see those corn cob holders...they're actually little piggies...hilarious...
...and we had watermelon for dessert...the big old-timey ones with seeds you can actually see...it was delectable...

...what did you eat yesterday?...

~Have a lovely day!
