...It was an icky-rainy weekend...but I managed to sort of dodge the rainshowers to ride my bike...shop for groceries and do a little crafty tie-dye for Our Airman...
...and we got probably the last of the garden fresh veg for this year's growing season...a bunch of delicious vine ripened tomatoes...a couple of cucumbers, white okra and zucchini...so thankful for all the veg we've gotten this summer...
...I did a pretty large grocery shop...
...and got all of these things for a "Persian" recipe the Man wants to make later this week...I'll post about it for sure...
...I gathered up Jack's things (sadly)...and washed them all in hot water...I'll take them to the vet along with his leftover prescription meds...to see if they can use them...if not I'll take them to a shelter or kennel...
...this was Jack-Jack's shawl...or blankie...I loved the yarn...so I'm going to unravel it and make it into something else...
...because who wouldn't want something re-made from a former doggie blanket...haha...
...but really I'm going to re-knit it into a blanket-pad-pillow thingy for Kitten...haha...
...and then finally...I had one bottle of black dye ...and I wanted to try my hand at single colour tie-dye...
...just bunched the white t-shirt up the regular way...but since it's only one colour...you don't do the colour wheel like you do for a rainbow shirt...you basically just leave one wedge white...
...I think it turned out great...a little bit more like navy blue or dark purple after it's rinsed out for some reason...and I dodged the rainshowers to hang it out on the line...I like it a lot and I think Our Airman will like it too...
~Wishing you a lovely start to your week!
