WELCA met last night and they have started a Prayer Shawl Ministry - this first one will go to a lady at our church who was recently diagnosed with ALS - what a horrible sentence that is...
We are passing this one around - I have it until tonight - then I take it to another little old lady and she'll pass it on to her neighbor - then Thursday pick it up from that little old lady and take it to another little old lady - we hope to have it finished by Sunday so that it can be blessed before her trip to Johns Hopkins. It's a really easy pattern - Chain 54 - 1 row of single crochet and 3 rows of double - one of the ladies at WELCA decided that we should crochet only in the back loops to make the ridged pattern - it's fine with me.
I forgot to mention that the Spring Music Program went really well. The Man-Cub said his lines perfectly and his costume was great!
