...it was a much warmer day...you can tell by the way our instructor is dressed...
...the 'lifeguard' entry...apparently they're supposed to keep their head above water so that they can immediately start swimming toward the victim...without going under and having water in their face...it could save a couple of seconds...
...swimming some laps...proving both ability and stamina...
...and the fun part...jumping off the lifeguard stand...they had a little competition...all feet first jumps as the pool is only 6 feet deep...and Scout won with this spinning-toe-touching-jump that ended in a cannonball!...I wish I had videotaped it instead of a still shot...
Congratulations to Scout! I so wish I had a pool to jump in right now! xx
