...Swimming Lessons...
...Scout is taking Level 6 swimming again...
...he passed Level 6 last year...but he can't take the Lifeguard test until next year so he wanted to take Level 6 again to brush up on his skills...it's actually called 'Lifeguard Readyness'...at 14 he can be a substitute Lifeguard but can't work full time...we'll see...
...it was chilly...notice how his instructor was dressed...
...they're practicing stepping into the water and not letting their heads go under...Scout was pretty successful at this...there's some splash around his head...but he didn't actually go under...
...practicing kneeling dives...
...in this exercise...they turn their back...and the instructor throws a diving ring into the pool...
...then they dive in and swim around trying to find it...
...success...

ReplyDeletelove, k
That sounds like a great class. Why can't they get their heads wet? Good for Scout for wanting to be a lifeguard.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that kids are enjoying their swimming lesson. It is good idea to have adult's supervision while kids are on water. Kids are learning and having fun at the same time.
