...We had our first opportunity for a little visit south to see our family in North Carolina...
...so we drove through the Great Smoky Mountains...aptly named I think...
...and arrived at the ancestral home for a lovely visit...
...and the 5 hour drive was just so much nicer than the 27 hour drive...
