...so grandmas were visited...

...old photos were perused...grandma used to get all the cousins matching pjs for Christmas...that's the same window behind us...I'm standing between my two cousins...looking down a bit...and apparently Mom curled my hair - as it is most decidedly not curly...

...birthdays were celebrated...

...Mom made my Depression Era Cake...it was really good...

...we spent some time outdoors...

...it was really beautiful...

...and a little...and I do mean...little knitting...

...I finally started Heliotropic...after saying I was going to for over a year...
~Have a lovely day!
How lovely it is to visit. Love the cousins pic, are you the one next to the young man in red - the pretty one?
ReplyDeleteyes, a lovely visit! love, k
ReplyDeleteWhat a great visit
ReplyDeleteStaying connected with family is so important, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThat sweater looks like it's going to be beautiful--can't wait to see the finished shots!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great little break! So glad that you are able to be so much closer to family now :)
ReplyDeleteI clearly didn't read all the comment! The curly hair looks so cute - I know what you mean about having your hair curled. 'Naturally' curly hair was seen as such a bonus for so long. My hair was 'as straight as pump water'. Such a disadvantage until the late sixties made straight hair quite the thing!
