...Exploring W.V. ...Revisiting the Horse Creek Petroglyphs...
...we've been here before...
...but it's certainly worth going back...the carvings were still there...
...after we had our waffles...we met some friends who had never been and took them with us this time...
...we just wandered around enjoying the scenery...
...and the different rock formations...
...a close up of one of the other (less famous) glyphs...I wonder exactly what the message was...I feel like we've played 'telephone' with the Girl Scouts and we've gotten the message all wrong...
...we spent some time examining the flora...we were unable to identify this skinny hanging vine...
...and fauna...
...the pretty asters are always such harbingers of the season...
...more of our travels all week...we do love West Virginia...

So beautiful! I could imagine hiking and stopping to visit all of those places. Makes me wish it was the weekend- and a bit cooler here! :-)
