...I made myself a bacon bottie...(ref...Hyacinth's brother-in-law has those...but I don't really know what it is)...mine is tofu slices fried in Earth Balance...with some salt and pepper...atop a muffin with some of the new Daiya Havarti...and a couple of slices of Smart Bacon...
...I was on my first flight at 5:20 AM...too early to eat...so I packed my sammie to eat during my one hour layover in ATL...vegans have to plan ahead as vegan breakfast food can be difficult to find in an airport on a tight schedule...my sammie was delish...
...I took my Heliotropic...but didn't knit a stitch...and my book club book - State of Wonder is very very good this month...I'm really enjoying it...
...then after a nice little nap on my second flight I was at my sister's house...I'll post a bunch of pictures of the wedding in a little bit...

We had a nearly identical breakfast!
ReplyDeleteWe Brits will make a butty out of anything. Butty is actually a contraction of bread and butter. I think, when I was a kid, we had chip butties because they were very filling and cheap. I don't remember the last time I had one!! I have an aunt that actually ate pea butties!!
