...1.16...Japan...Day SIXTEEN...

...today was a kind of double decker day...Our Airman said the Dino Park and the Pineapple Park were both really close together and over an hour away...so it would be best to try and do them both in the same day...

...so we went to Dinosaur Park first...and there were originally two girls in this photo...

...but one of them ran away to see the bird...

...you enter the park through the dinosaur's mouth...

...and it's like a rain forest with a bunch of huge dinosaurs in it...they are all animatronic and motion activated....

...Big Sissie loved the little dinos hatching out of eggs...

...and there were lots of interesting plants...almost like another botanical garden...

...Little Sissie is not too sure about the dinos...and keeps a good grip on Dada...

...the trails were really steep...

...running to catch up with Grandmommy...

...Little Sissie still a little unsure...

...but Big Sissie has a wealth of dino knowledge she's quite happy to share...love that...

...there was a brewery too...which seemed a little odd to me...

...after riding some dinos...

...then we took a break at a roadside taco place...they had several vegan options...

...I got two vegan tacos and potato wedges...

...it was really delicious...

...and we got the cinnamon crisps for dessert...

....and then we headed back up to the Pineapple Park...

...it's exactly what you'd think a Pineapple themed amusement park would be...

...we rode a tram around fields of baby pineapples...

...these will be harvested in the summer...

...and again there was a sort of botanical garden...

...with photo ops that you walk around...

...and on the way out there was a sort of craft village...

...with an amazing glass blowing exhibition...

...and there was also a winery at the pineapple park...featuring pineapple wines...they were very strict about not serving any samples to the drivers...I wasn't driving so I sampled some...it was yummy...I've never had pineapple wine before...

...when we got home we got ramen takeaway...mine is vegan miso...

...Big Sissie loves ramen too...

...and then we played with some puzzles...

...sharing and helping...
