...6.11...W.I.P. Wednesday...

...I've cast on and started the pattern...Porcelain Sweater...

...since I'm knitting with cotton...which for me has a tendency to stretch with wear...it just doesn't have any natual elasticity...I'm changing to a European/diagonal shoulder...the pattern uses short row shaping for the shoulders and I'm just afraid that it will droop...and noone wants droopy shoulders....

...I've looked at a few hundred of the completed sweaters on Ravelry...haha...and I'm planning a few more modifications...probably K2P2 ribbing as I prefer a little less of a snatched look at the hem and I don't really want the hemline to be different from the neck and sleeves so I'll be doing that for all the ribbing...also contemplating a split hem...I've seen a few of those as well...but the hemline is a long way away...so we'll see...

...I am loving this soft cotton yarn and the way the linen blends with it to make a sort of dappled effect...
