...the HARVEST has begun...
...just a week of the produce we've gotten from our little square foot garden...this first handful of beans is from the bush beans...and a few from the Rattlesnake beans too...
...I'll keep them in a recycled cereal bag until I've got a potful...
...another day's harvest...just a few of the rattlesnake beans...they're the ones with the purple stripes...
...adding those to the bag...
...and the first handful of blueberries...WE GREW THOSE...
...another day's harvest...a few patio tomatoes...and one small Rutger tomato...
...I'm keeping the handful of blueberries in a jar...the Man wants a cobbler when we have enough...and since I can't stop eating them out of hand...that may be a while...haha...
...another day...another bowlful of beans...
...and a couple more handfuls of blueberries...
...they are so gorgeous and delicious...I'm amazed at how prolific and easy to grow they are...they're also pretty little bushes...so they'll be sort of ornamental when they don't have berries or blooms...
...and another day's harvest...
...we almost have enough blueberries now for a nice deep cobbler...
...and we've defninitely got enough green beans for a nice big potful...
...I am just so amazed at how much produce we get from our little garden...
...what have you been growing lately?...
~Have a lovely day!

I haven’t been growing, but I have been picking! I’ll do one more pick tomorrow of green beans and blueberries as Dick and Lindy return home from Switzerland tomorrow evening. Love, K
