...let the colour-work begin...this first bit with the opening for the armholes is a little bit more difficult than knitting in the round as we'll be doing later...because you have to do the colour-work on the purl side as well...
...but I actually like to look at the back-side of colour-work...all those wraps make an interesting design on the purl-side too...

...all done with the little snowflake pattern...and joined in the round...
...I've read that the next pattern for the 'leaves' is a lot more difficult...probably because it's a little bit more 'syncopated'...I'm looking forward to it...
