...8.9...North Dakota Day 1...

...we drove through our friend's beautiful wheat field to get to the point...
...we spent a lot of time here when we lived here all those years ago...
...camping...picnicing...just hanging out...so much fun still...
...we picked up a veggie pizza on our way out of town...it was delicious...
...just visiting and catching up with everyone...the sunset was gorgeous...
...and we spent the evening at our friends' house learning a new-to-us game of cards...Pinochle...it's pretty hard...bidding and taking tricks and the deck is different too...do you play pinochle?

    Yes, we played Pinochle back in college. I can't remember who we played with though....I think we still have the special decks of cards somewhere and I have little memory of the game. Like you, I think it was a "brain intense" game. Love, K
