The Last Days of Fall

Y'all know that winter sets in here pretty early - so we took advantage of probably the last pretty day this fall and went out to the lake for a picnic. It was warm enough in the afternoon to take off our jackets.

We saw a pretty egret and several ducks...

The wind blew pretty steadily but not too much - just enough to make the grasses wave and make a pretty sound...
