...Scout's Band has a big competition coming up...well...several actually...
...so they met on a weeknight to practice for a couple of hours...
...they start with some stretches...Band is Hard Work...
...and they practiced marching forwards and backwards...that's fun...right...and then they ran through the show a couple of times...that's Scout immediately to the right of the 40 yard line...
...we'll be at an all day competition tomorrow...after a game tonight...hopefully we can all sleep on the bus...

ReplyDeleteI admire the dedication of the band members. They give up their free time to practise and to rehearse, a lot for a teenager.
ReplyDeleteI do realise, as a parent, that behind each youngster are parents supporting them. I feel sympathy for those youngsters whose parents don't support them and they do it alone or they simply can't do it.
I am sure he will have a blast. Band is hard. I have heard of bands having to do all kinds of workouts beforehand. Scout is awesome. Hey but is this some good knitting time for you?
